This was my first visit to see Dr. Sonawala and he was great. He took his time with my concerns but was quick to get my medications moving and to reschedule me for a follow up. The staff was great to work and even gave me some extra tests that helped me to make an important decision. I will, absolutely, be going back to them.

I had the most amazing experience with Dr. Sonawala. From start to finish, it was the most thorough and comforting appointment I’ve ever had. He takes the time to truly listen, asks the right questions, and makes you feel completely heard and cared for. If your in need of an excellent primary provider, look no further then the services provided by Dr. Mehul Sonawala.
It all starts with the receptionist who greets you with a smile to the medical assistant who goes out of her way to get to know you while taking your vitals. 3 words that come to mind in regards to his staff are attentive, professional, and caring.
And after my consultation with Dr Sonawala, I realize that he exemplifies those same traits by actively listening to your medical history and concerns, providing specific feedback that demonstrates his wealth of knowledge, and most importantly, develop a plan of action. It was then that I realized, I’m in good hands. Thank you Dr Sonawala and your wonderful staff!!!

I was charged for my exam, after 1.5 hour they said they couldn't do because they were overbooked. I went back after one week to get the exam done and they wanted me to pay again but double this time. I left without getting my exam because I think should not pay for their mistake. Very disappointed. Miscommunication and unprofessional people.

Unfortunately, my visit didn’t go as well as I’d hoped. I spent a good amount of time completing the intake forms through Zocdoc in advance, but still had to fill out another 15 minutes’ worth of paperwork once I arrived. This was followed by a long wait—about an hour and a half—before I was seen. The entire process felt inefficient, with everything done on paper. The medical assistant repeated many of the same questions I had already answered on the paperwork, and it felt redundant. When I finally saw the doctor, the interaction lasted only five minutes, and she seemed low energy and disengaged, continuing to go over that same paper form. Altogether, I was there for two hours for a non-urgent appointment. The office itself also felt outdated and not particularly welcoming. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed.

Dr. Sadula was lovely, and I’m so excited to start my care with her! She’s knowledgeable, thorough, and ordered an extensive panel of labs that made me feel confident we’re taking a comprehensive approach to my health. The only downside was that I booked the appointment through Zocdoc for an annual pap smear, but was told I’d need to return in 4 weeks to actually have the exam done. Also, the office staff could improve—my lab order had a CPT code issue they couldn’t clarify same-day, and it wasn’t marked as fasting, which caused some confusion. Communication was slow; calls aren’t returned promptly. Despite that, I truly enjoy Dr. Sadula and look forward to my follow-up and continuing care with her!

Doctor saw me BRIEFLY, like three minutes, then had to wait close to an hour for write up notes/referral (not to sure she barely saw me). Poor listener, just made me feel uncomfortable.

The doctor was very educated. She was able to take in all my symptoms and figure out exactly what was wrong with me within minutes. We went over all my options and she gave me a lot of hope that I could get fixed because of my age. Everyone that I got into contact with was very friendly and nice, the staff was very nice and welcoming. From my experience this office is very open-minded with everyone’s background, identity, nationality, etc. highly recommend.

They didn't know what I was going there for even after I filled it out online, and I ended up not getting what I scheduled to go there for and having to reschedule. I basically paid for a piece of paper to schedule lab work on my own.

she gave me referral, Urgent… so I can be seen by another office as soon as possible . I am very , very impressed!

Dr Sushma is very nice. Her office answered all of my questions. There were a few issues with filling out forms online but the office staff helped me. My first appt was canceled so I wasn’t seen right away. But that was fine because it wasn’t an emergency. I am looking forward to having Dr Sushma as my regular doctor.
