We provide psychiatric assessments and medical treatment for depression, anxiety, and PTSD with “conventional” medications that have been around for decades and work well for many people. We are collaborative and patient-centered. We listen and take your concerns seriously and deliver expert care with warmth and compassion. Our clinic is also a counseling center that provides psychotherapy. Medication management involves a thorough assessment of symptoms, medical history, lifestyle factors, and treatment goals to tailor a personalized medication regimen. We recognize the importance of striking a balance between symptom reduction and managing potential side effects. Our approach emphasizes ongoing monitoring and adjustment to optimize medication efficacy while minimizing adverse effects. We believe in proactive communication and encourage open dialogue between patients and providers to address any concerns or challenges that may arise during treatment. In some cases, conventional psychiatric medicine is not enough to reduce symptoms and improve performance. We are pleased to be experienced providers of ketamine assisted therapy, which can significantly improve outcomes. We are also passionate about cutting edge psychedelic medicines that will be proscribable sometime next year. Each month we offer a free, in-person, peer psychedelic integration group. It's a place to discuss your past experiences with psychedelics and discuss ways of healing and better understanding yourself. About our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Anna Richards: Anna has 10 years of clinical experience across the lifespan in a variety of settings, as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. She is an experienced in treating psychotic disorders, mood disorders, and substance abuse as well as extensive work in crisis stabilization. She has a special interest in treatment resistant depression, trauma related disorders, and bereavement. Anna's past clinical experience led to an interest in ketamine assisted psychotherapy because many of her clients seeking treatment through psychotropic medications are met with limited relief of symptoms and/or intolerable side effects. She believes in patience, persistence, and collaboration with my clients as a path forward to recovery. In her spare time Anna enjoys pottery, fostering senior dogs, performance arts, and building community.
