Mrs. Tammy was by far the best psychiatric provider that I have ever encountered in my 47 years. She opens the call with a smile and appears genuinely happy to meet you. She is pleasant. She listens to all concerns and provides knowledgeable and clear answers. She explains all medications and the plan of care in detail. I cannot brag enough on this provider.

I am new to the state of Arizona from a life in Louisiana. I have been on several medications for years. Not a single doctor after multiple tries here would read my previous medical history and they out-right refused to prescribe my medications. Mrs.Tammy answered and greeted me with a warm smile. She reviewed my history and treated me like a person versus a number as most other doctors do. She was caring, knowledgeable, and addressed all of my needs. Booked appointment the night before morning of appointment. Signed into waiting room on zo doc and the doctor joined the meeting however wasn’t aware of meeting but was fantastic I’m still getting me set up with same day appointment. WAs recommend to zo doc by friend and I know two people who have successfully completed their appointments with docs from this platform and still see the docs to this day, two years later. The doc was a great listener and knowledgeable and made me confident that she cares about me and my health. Prescribed exactly what I needed same day and was able to get my prescription same day! Now I can start the year off with confidence it will be a great start! Would highly recommend

Tammy is caring and compassionate. I wasn’t sure where to go or who to see before I met with Tammy. She answered all of my questions, gave me wonderful psychoeducation, and wrote me a new prescription that I picked up shortly after our appointment. Looking forward to our next apportionments.

She was very friendly, and this made me feel comfortable. Additionally, she appeared compassionate and understanding of my situation/medication needs. My only problem was with the computer application, so we completed the session via landline phone. No need to stress out over technical glitches. I am also impressed with her assistant who was very reachable, a trait not found very often these days. I will call to schedule my follow up appointment within the next week.

I don’t do reviews but I have to say, Tammy is amazing.
I had been presenting symptoms of ADHD. I visited a couple others before Tammy and it seemed like they glossed over this concern and didn’t WANT to screen me. One medical professional said they wanted to treat smaller issues first, and it didn’t take me very far. Tammy sent me a screening to complete before the appointment and she let me know my suspicions were correct; the first thing she said during the appointment was something along the lines of calling me a ball of ADHD. Jeez, did that feel so freeing!
Tammy is communicative. She asked about things I hadn’t even thought about and used that info when determining which medications may work. Seems simple! Tammy listened to my concerns and made explanations crystal clear.
From our first minutes speaking, I knew I was in good hands. With Tammy, I feel like I’m finally taking a step to a better quality of life. I’m going to be sticking with her for a while.

Dr Tammy Hostetler is awesome. She listens to what you say, she doesn't give you RX that you don't need like a lot of Dr's do these day. I saw 3 doctors before Tammy who kept prescribing me meds that treated the physical affects i was experiencing from the mental issues i was battling. Dr Tammy treated my anxiety and prescribed me meds for anxiety. I would highly recommend her.
