About Dr. Camille Howard-Verovic Camille Howard-Verovic, D.O. is a Board Certified physician in Dermatology. She completed her medical degree at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Long Island, New York. She is double board certified in Family Medicine and Dermatology. She completed her Family Medicine residency at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in June, 2017 and her Dermatology residency at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in June, 2020. Dr. Howard is a member of the American Medical Association and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Howard employs a thorough and patient approach to her patient’s dermatological concerns. She believes the best medical outcomes are achieved with collaborative care. Her unique training as an osteopathic physician reinforces her inherent medical viewpoint to treat the whole person first rather than just the symptoms. I’ve been seeing Dr.Howard for three years to treat my adult acne, seborrheic dermatitis and more recently my Hidradenitis Suppurativa. She really takes time each visit to listen and get a holistic view of your symptoms offers lifestyle changes as well as medical treatments. Her patient education is top tier making sure you understand the potential causes, treatment plans and possible side effects. She’s also great with insurance authorization even with private insurance some medications can be a challenge to get but she quick and always follows through to ensure you receive your medication in a timely manner.

I can confirm that the other positive, glowing reviews are accurate!! As a woman of color, it was important that my dermatologist was also a woman of color because I knew she would be able to relate and truly understand my skin issues. Aside from this, I also sought a compassionate dermatologist with excellent bedside manner - and Dr. Howard delivered! Dr. Howard asked the necessary questions to determine the best treatment plan. Going to the doctor can be a vulnerable experience, but Dr. Howard-Verovic was super warm and I felt totally comfortable throughout my whole visit.
