Dr. Chen was timely, professional, thorough and personable. She really listened and took appropriate diagnostic steps to figure out my issue, explaining each procedure. Not only did she treat my eye problem, but also a related issue involving the skin around my mouth and nose. She developed a game plan, and had 3 prescriptions already called in to my pharmacy before I left her office, which I really appreciated. Her office staff was organized and friendly.

Dr. Chen was very personable and explained everything to me very clearly. I'd gone to an optometrist who found small pre-cataracts, but couldn't really communicate to me what that meant. Dr. Chen helped to clear that up. Her staff got me through the insurance and paperwork quickly.

Dr. Candice is very professional ophthalmologist, based on my experiences for long time with other ophthalmologists, I think that Dr. Candice is the best one I've had experience with. She is very kind and helpful for patients and she treats in a professional way. In addition, the girl in the front disk is so kind and seems pleased to help people, also there is no long time for waiting when I just entered and I was requested to sign a paper at the reception , They took me to the examination room and the doctor saw me right away. I would highly recommend her to patients.

I cannot recommend this office as it feels like an establishment that takes advantage of the customers.
I was told upon booking my appointment that I would be fully covered under my insurance. Instead, after my appointment, I was billed a large sum - triple digits - merely for reading letters on the wall and quickly being told that my vision was fine. I also got poked in the eye, which was unexpected.
It is now over 5 months since my appointment, and after attempting to contact their billing contractor and the office 3 times each, the issue is still unresolved and I keep getting referred to somebody else.

This was my first visit with Dr. Chen and I would highly recommend her to everyone. She was thorough, patient, explained the different tests she administered, and asked me if I had any questions for her. I feel lucky to have found her!

Dr. Chen was great. I booked her when I actually needed to see an optometrist. We realized this halfway through - not only did she not charge me for the time spent, she gave me referral for a great optometrist in the area. I had also forgotten to bring the specs for my contacts and she was extremely patient throughout the entire process.
