Parham Zarrini, MD FACC is a clinical cardiologist, specializing in advanced heart failure, coronary artery disease and cardiac arrhythmias. Dr. Zarrini additionally completed a fellowship in women’s heart disease and is passionate about heart disease prevention and treatment of microvascular dysfunction. He also specializes in cardiac imaging, and is highly trained in echocardiography and nuclear imaging. As an avid researcher, he has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and has presented his work at various national conferences including the American College of Physicians, American Heart Association and American College of Cardiology annual meetings.
Dr. Zarrini grew up in Los Angeles and received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors. He subsequently received a M.D. M.B.A dual degree from the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Zarrini completed his Internal Medicine residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center and went on to complete an additional Women’s Heart Disease fellowship at the Barbara Streisand Women’s Heart Center at Cedars Sinai. He then completed his Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at the University of Miami / Jackson Memorial Hospital, one of the largest acute care hospitals in the United States, caring for a diverse population across South Florida.
Dr. Zarrini is very passionate about medical ethics, and during his training served as the hospital’s ethics committee representative and completed the Fellowship at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics (FASPE). He compassionately focuses on understanding each patient’s values and beliefs, takes special care to help them understand their underlying condition, and works together with his patients to develop a therapeutic plan that they can best comply with and thrive.

Great doctor, pays attention to all the little details, 100% would recommend him to anybody who has heart issues. If I was out of state, I would fly just to see him, he is that good. Also I'm one of those people who read about doctors reviews from various websites, yelp, google reviews, etc... before I schedule an appointment, and the reviews are 100% accurate for him. This doctor is really amazing. I’ve had a long couple years of countless doctor visits with many docs and dr Zarrini has been one of the best. Took a long time to process information with me and ask questions and listen. I never once felt rushed or judged or uncomfortable. He is very kind and really does want to help his patients. He does not just shoo you away if he thinks you’re fine but takes his time with you and will help you consider options of what to do going forward. It was also easy to make an appointment with him and his office staff is friendly and communicative. I would recommend his care to anyone.
