Welcome to South Atlanta Urology & Gynecology Associates P.C. Our physicians, along with our highly qualified staff, are pleased to provide patient care and surgical services to patients. Our doctors have privileges at Atlanta Medical Center, Emory Midtown University Hospital, Emory Johns Creek Hospital and Spalding Regional Medical Center. Our offices are conveniently located in downtown Atlanta next to the Atlanta Medical Center. Also in Johns Creek, GA close to Emory Johns Creek Hospital along with satellite offices in Morrow, GA and Griffin, GA.

Knocked off 3 stars for 3 reasons:
1) absolutely disorganized
2) She does not practice consent. I felt extremely violated after one incident in the office: I was having a procedure done, and had my knees up, legs completely open towards the (closed) door, and she told an assistant to come in without asking me first. The assistant walked in and out a couple times while I was completely exposed. She then asked in front of the assistant if I was okay with her looking at my cervix through the microscope to learn. She asked this question after the student was already between my legs, so I didn't really get to answer. I have a history of sexual assault, and this office visit deeply upset me for weeks. I cried as soon as I got back in my car afterwards. This was the day that I decided I would switch providers once my issue was resolved.
3) Dr. Crawford does not respect a patient's decision to not have children. Every time I have mentioned that my husband and I do not intend on having children, she has asked "Are you really sure? You won't change your mind?" Me saying "we don't want them" wasn't a satisfactory answer for her. I had to give a reason she would accept. For someone whose job is helping with family planning, she sure doesn't respect your family plan.
I've given her two stars instead of one because she did explain the procedures and issues I was having well, and I understood the course of treatment that was expected of me. This is the only positive I will give her.

I've never loved a dr before. This was my first appointment and I am beyond impressed. She is kind and gentle. She made me laugh and feel comfortable immediately. This was the least stressful Annual visit and she found the most issues.

I want to start with the staff who is so friendly and helpful. These ladies were so polite and did as much as they could to assist me with everything I had going on. Dr. Crawford is also patient, well mannered, flexible and of course smart. I am new to this office but I would highly recommend it, best experience ever dealing with an office staff.

The wait time here was ridiculous - believe the reviews on here. I was in the waiting room for over an hour even though I arrived 10 minutes early to fill out paperwork and check in. The patient room was strange and it was an overall uncomfortable visit. The doctor and MA kept opening the door while I was in a gown and there was a crack in the door which would expose any patient to a person walking by in the hallway. The provider was fine but the environment, wait time, and cleanliness of the room would keep me from returning. Patient beware.

I waited for a good two hours to be seen. I only saw her for fifteen minutes. The staff seemed incompetent, the doc was ok, but I hate that I felt rushed, I had a lot of questions left unanswered. And what they charge is outrageous. Also you shouldn’t have to pay for parking, your paying an insane amount just for a twenty minute appointment. Insanity.

I was very disappointed with the wait time. It was over 2 1/2 hours before I was seen. I was preparing to leave as she walked in. I felt like the front desk person act like a 19 -20 year old. Beyond that I really liked the doctor and I'm willing to give it another try.

Dr. Crowford is very pleasant and has a calm demeanor. She’s easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable.
I was a little disappointed in the wait time, which was well over an hour, and I had to complete paperwork that I had already completed online.

I paid out of pocket for my visit (which I didn’t think would be a problem since I can afford it). The receptionist made a comment about next time I should have insurance and I felt that pretty rude. The doctor didn’t seem too interested in my concerns. The exam seemed standard and I was told a prescription would be sent over for my symptoms & the prescription was never sent to my pharmacy. If you have health insurance I’m sure you may get much better treatment. I was just hoping the doc would be a bit more attentive to my concerns.

This is extremely important for a gynecologist since the very nature of the doctor-patient encounter is very personal. I recommend her.

This was hands down the best OB/GYN appointment I've ever had. Dr Crawford has an awesome beside manner and at no point did I feel uncomfortable. She took time to answer questions and explain everything she was doing and why.

This was my first visit, Dr. Crawford is very sweet and she makes you feel really comfortable. I didn't feel judged and I felt like I could talk to her about anything. There was a bit of a wait time but she she apologized upon entering and explained why. I understand her office is usually very prompt. I will definitely be back. I recommend her to anyone looking for a new doctor.
