I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 10 years of experience in the field. I specialize in treating children and adolescents. Many children and teens are experiencing over-stimulation due to cell phones and other electronics. One of my areas of focus is getting children back in touch with their feelings and improving their in-person relational skills. I help parents set healthy limits with electronics, video games, and cell phones. Similarly, academic pressure can be overwhelming in today's competitive environment. I help children and teens learn to cope with this pressure and create balance in their lives.
More broadly, I have extensive experience in treating ADHD, anxiety disorders, and a variety of behavioral and adjustment difficulties (bullying, sibling rivalry, self-esteem challenges). Although I specialize in treating children and adolescents, I also see adults.
My research focus is on the therapeutic relationship. What I, and others in the field, have concluded, is that the therapeutic relationship is the strongest predictor of successful therapy outcome. Your comfort and goals will always be at the forefront of treatment.

Dr. Gabris was a pleasure to speak with. I felt heard and understood, and there wasn't an ounce of judgement for anything I said during our session. It took me a while to find a psychologist, and I was nervous going into it, but after the initial appointment, I'm relieved to have found someone I feel I can trust. Making an appointment was quick and easy, and I got a courtesy call beforehand to ensure I was safe and didn't need immediate attention, which just made me instantly feel like I was in good hands. I highly recommend!
