Dr. Stitt is a godsent to me! I've been struggling for years with various ailments, not realizing that it all was linked to my fibroids. I had so many doctors dismissed my conditions. However, after seeing Dr. Stitt, he provided me with a medical plan tailored to my needs. He gave me hope in saving my uterus, restore my fertility, and removing all 23 fibroids. As a woman of color, he made me feel like my opinions are valid, and my life matters. He not only gave me advice regarding gynecological concerns, but he also referred me to the right doctors that made my whole medical experience better. It doesn't matter who you are, Dr. Stitt treat all patients like their situation is important and your life matters. He also makes you feel like no question is invalid. I recommend anyone to see him. He is a rare medical gem that gives a ray of hope to women that has been given less than favorable outcomes. Anyone to go see him and staff at Caronette. Trust me, it will do you good!

I moved to Maryland in 2023 and initially saw two female OBGYNs, but both experiences left me feeling dismissed and overlooked. Finding Dr. Stitt was a turning point.
Today at my appointment, he took the time to thoroughly explain what fibroids are, how they grow, and the available treatment options. He even provided visuals to help me understand the size of my fibroid, which made me feel informed and empowered in my care.
What impressed me most was his patience and attentiveness. He welcomed all of my questions, never rushed, and made me feel respected throughout the appointment.
This was one of the most informative and reassuring medical visits I have ever had. Dr. Stitt combines expertise with genuine compassion, which is rare to find. I am grateful to have an OBGYN I trust and feel comfortable with, and as someone pursuing medicine, I aspire to model his approach to patient care.

Dr. Stitt stands on “IT’S YOUR CHOICE.” I had been seen and informed by four different doctors that I needed a full hysterectomy based on my symptoms. Three out of the four doctors stated that I “possibly” had cancer after reviewing imagery from my MRI. I was informed that a myomectomy was not an option based on those images. Sadly, I began to accept the reality that I would have to have a full hysterectomy although that was not my desire. Two weeks prior to my surgery, I was introduced to Dr. Stitt. He gave me an abundance of hope, a new understanding and a new surgery date. Dr. Stitt was able to successfully perform my surgery, meet my goals and exceed my expectations with his care. Dr. Stitt is a brilliant and excellent surgeon but moreso an incredible human being. From my initial consultation I knew I was in good hands. Like a psychic he knew all the symptoms that were affecting me without being told. He earned my trust from then and his ratings only got higher. Many busy and knowledgeable surgeons make you feel unseen but not doctor Stitt. He makes you feel like you are his only patient. Atmosphere: I walked into a beautiful office that didn’t feel sterile. I was greeted and promptly checked in.
Preparation: It was evident that Dr. Stitt had looked at my file and was prepared. I could tell he’d reviewed the information I provided ahead of time.
Communication: Dr. Stitt was easy to talk to and answered medical questions in laymen’s terms. I was able to articulate my concerns, get his insight, and ask follow up questions. I left feeling seen and hear, truly feeling like I had a partner to help my address my health. In the past, it has sometimes felt adversarial with other doctors who were quick to prescribe a medication or surgery without the due diligence of understanding my individual situation.

If you’re looking for a doctor’s office that feels both professional and welcoming, I highly recommend Dr. Lawrence Stitt III. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed, the office was beautiful, clean, and tastefully decorated. I was even more amazed to learn that Dr. Stitt decorated it himself. It truly feels like a space at home and that energy makes patients feel at ease too.
The staff was friendly and helpful, and Dr. Stitt himself was everything you’d hope for in a physician: approachable, knowledgeable, and thorough. He took his time to explain things clearly, always checking to see if I had any questions. What really stood out to me was how he used the screen to show visuals and walk me through everything in a way that made sense. I left feeling confident and informed, not rushed or confused.
I’m already scheduled for my next visit and that says a lot. I’d absolutely go back and have already recommended the office to my sister.

This office is located inside of a hospital system. There is a small fee to park in the garage, but it's very reasonable, especially compared to DC prices. The office is clean and spacious, decorated nicely with ambient features and very comfortable furniture. I was greeted immediately by a single front office staff person, who was later identified as Dr. Jackson, the director of operations. She presented as remarkably kind and genuinely interested in patient welfare. I did not have long to wait before I was seen by Dr. Stitt. He answered all of my questions thoroughly, using visuals from the internet so that I could easily access the information later from home if I wanted to look up references myself. This doctor seems like a very experienced and qualified surgeon, but I get the impression that his practice is not set up for general gynecological care.

The office itself is very welcoming, with very comfortable seating and a calming, tranquil waterfall. The receptionist was also welcoming and helpful. I was very nervous when I got there and the nurse was very understanding and did her best to calm me down. I had an awesome experience. I love the plan we put together, but I am saddened by the news I receive. I hate surgery but I know I need to get help to get me out of the pain I am in. I am confident that Dr. Stitt, III will get to the bottom of my problem because of his expertise and experience with my health issue. Again, I hate surgery but I trust the good doctor is going to help me the best he can to stop the pain but I just want the pain to stop and love a normal life before the weight gain and my endometriosis diagnosis.

Dr. Stitt and his team are truly amazing. This was my 1st appointment as a new patient. The office is clean, nicely decorated and very comforting. I was greeted by Shalitha the office manager. I'm not sure if I was the first patient that day at 1:00 in the afternoon but when I arrived there was no one in the office. Staff came in about 12:50pm stated she was at lunch and would be with me shortly. I learned this is a fairly new practice and they specialize in fibroid care.
