My Telehealth psychiatry practice was established during COVID. As Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist licensed as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) my career in psychiatry includes treatment of children and adults in myriad mental health settings. I taught in nursing and medical schools. I have had the honor to present my clinical research at major conferences in the US and Canada. I have been in leadership positions in psychiatric and general hospital programs for children, adolescents and adults requiring in-patient psychiatric services.
In 2021 I launched what has been a very rewarding solo Telehealth practice to serve communities in need of mental health care during the COVID pandemic.
As a Traumatologist and member of the Green Cross first responders I deployed to New York City after 9/11 activating critical incident response and psychological trauma intervention for disaster survivors.
A holistic approach to behavioral health incorporates mind, body and spirit with the goal of health promotion and wellbeing.
