Carter Family Practice (CFP) provides telehealth-based family medicine and urgent care services with a focus on accessible, patient-centered care. We believe in treating the whole person while delivering evidence-based medical care that is practical, respectful, and easy to access.

Like many people, I had been putting off an appointment for a long time. I recently had to leave my long-term doctor and I was extremely apprehensive about finding a new one. Any kind of medical stuff makes me uneasy, and I was worried about starting over with a new person. Karen's Zocdoc profile immediately stood out. Her picture was very approachable and I appreciated her philosphopy of health/medicine, so I scheduled a telehealth appointment with her. I logged on a few minutes early, and she was ready for me. She introduced herself and I immediately felt at ease. Karen is warm, kind, and empathetic. She had actually read my medical history and reviewed it with me; she also made sure I understood everything we discussed. I felt respected and listened to the whole time. My appointment was brief (I only needed a prescription refill), but she was ready to help with anything else I needed. She made an anxious situation so much more comfortable for me, and I'm truly grateful.

I needed to find a new primary care doctor that takes my insurance. I found KAREN CARTER she was available with telehealth and I was able to get an appointment today. They sent me all the paperwork that I needed to fill out. I had my telehealth appointment. She was so thorough and listened to everything that I had to say and made sure we went over everything that you go through for a new patient her bedside manner was impeccable totally amazing and comfortable. I feel like it will be easy to communicate back-and-forth. I can email I can text. I can call it anytime I can schedule a telehealth anytime.
