You want tools to help you get through hard times. You want to feel less overwhelmed. You want to be able to get to sleep, or go back to sleep when you wake up in the middle of the night. You don't want to go through every bad thing that ever happened to you. We can talk about anything you want, but the goal is not the talking. The goal is to get back on track toward whatever you value.
I'll give you options and help you cut through all the fancy words and medical jargon. We'll probably laugh. You're not broken.
I teach skills to help you manage anxiety, depression, task completion, and get better sleep. I prescribe medications to support you in the work of retraining your nervous system. We're here to build resilience and get past shame. We're here quiet that harsh inner critic.
Medications are used to normalize your relationship with your emotions, not to make you numb. You will face your fears, not hide from them.
