At Catawba Valley Dental Care, Dr. Chad Vanourny and our team believe in providing our patients with professional, gentle dental care that creates great oral health and beautiful smiles. Our practice is patient-focused and family-friendly, emphasizing preventive care and patient education, delivered in a warm and comfortable environment. Our dental office uses state-of-the-art technologies in order to best diagnose and treat our patients, but we always concentrate on the one-on-one, human connection we have with those who come to us for care.

I had a wonderful experience at Catawba Valley Dental Care. Everyone was very friendly. Both Dr. Vanourny and the Dental Hygienist, Stacey, were pleasant and very thorough. There were no surprises about my dental plan; the results were trustworthy. The financial coordinator, Denise was also kind. She explained my options in depth and helped with future appointments. My appointment exceeded my expectations and I will continue to be a patient here.

It was my first dentist visit in 11 years because of a bad experience I had the last time. They made it a comfortable experience, were very gentle, and very friendly. I saw the newer dentist there, Baker, and she seemed incredibly knowledgeable and trustworthy.

I was attended immediately as I walked into the office, front desk ladies were super diligent & sweet - finished paperwork as I was new patient on office use laptop quickly & easily, assistant dentist who prepped me for doc & polished teeth after assessment was super friendly & outgoing! My son needed an emergency appointment to fix a broken tooth. Dr Vanourny's office made room for him right away. The workmanship is outstanding, too! You wouldn't even know my son broke his tooth!

The Dr was very friendly and patient. I was there for over 3 hours and it was pleasant. would definetly recommend.

Dr Baker is very friendly and kind, which is super important for me given my dentist anxiety.
Because it was my first visit, I spent 95% of the time with the hygienist who also was just stellar.
While I understand it's the first visit, I must admit I was expecting a bit more time with the doctor herself since she's the one who can actually recommend/do treatment procedures.
Nonetheless, I have scheduled further appointments with Dr Baker and I'm sure we'll have more time to go over my questions.

I was seen right away for my cap that fell off. Everyone from the receptionist to dental hygienist to Dr Baker and the payment was courteous, professional and respectful. I would highly recommend Dr Baker.

I love Dr. B & V. They take their time to make sure you’re ready, comfortable, and fixed good as new. The thing I love the most is that they don’t make a list of all the things they need to do. They simply fix what you need to have done.
