Central Park West Dentistry (also known as CPW Dentistry) is a locally owned dental practice near Columbus Circle, serving the Upper West Side for more than 25 years. Our team provides comprehensive dental care in a warm, welcoming setting, with evening, weekend, and same-day emergency appointments available.
We offer general and preventive dentistry, cleanings, fillings, Invisalign, dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, and specialty care. Our group practice combines personalized attention with the convenience of multiple providers and a broad range of services in one location.
We accept many major PPO insurance plans and offer transparent pricing and membership options for patients without insurance. New patients are always welcome.

I hated this practice much to my surprise after receiving various recommendations and reading high praise on here. They made me wait for liek 20-30 minutes, then I sat on the chair for like 5 minutes before their financial person came in and asked me for all the money upfront. I had called before and wanted to discuss prices but they said they would call me back and never did, so I was really alarmed. They then let me leave without the procedure because we couldn't reach an agreement. Awful awful service.

He did a very poor job bonding my teeth and they simply do not look good. I told him to make the left (chipped) one identical to the right one. He then, instead of bonding, filed off the corners of my teeth without asking my permission first. He also has bad bedside manner and was using my chest as a storage area for his tools throughout the procedure. I advise anyone to seek dental care elsewhere.

Dr. Piamonte was excellent. I was experiencing pain from a root canal I'd done with a different dentist and he assessed what was archy, treated it, and got we all set far setting my tooth capped at the next session. Very considerate and astote, excellent job overall.

Dr. Lhota and his assistant were very patient with my two-year old son. They spent the full time on the toddler for a very simple check-up in order to ensure that everything was right.

I didn't wait long at all for my 9:45 checkup. Dr. Lhota didn't rush through the appt. like some dentists/doctors do. He answered all of my questions and made time for the teeth cleaning I needed. I'd recommend him to people who are nervous about going to the dentist -- he's very calming and considerate. Also, I liked that he didn't try to push me into services/procedures I don't really need, like some dentists do.
