Hi, I’m Patricia and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Texas. I specialize in working with individuals seeking to understand themselves and navigate difficult circumstances. Through appropriately applied therapeutic approaches, my job is to help you establish your sense of self, and to feel more grounded in who you are so that you can confidently navigate the struggles you are experiencing. I utilize specific approaches to help my clients. I operate from a trauma-informed perspective. This means that when I work with you, I view your life events with an emphasis on how your life has impacted you. I typically utilize trauma-focused therapies such as Brainspotting (BSP) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). My hope is that our work together will generate clarity and insights for you. These changes can generally propel into action such as setting boundaries with a loved one or feeling comfortable verbalizing feelings rather than numbing out or ignoring them.
