Dr. Batla was so kind, patient and helpful. She sat with me for a long time in this initial appointment and listened carefully to my long list of medical conditions, went over my prescriptions and talked about past experiences with diagnoses. She also helped me navigate the CHA system and let me know about other services I can get through it. In addition, Tracy, who took my vitals and helped me with paperwork, was so accommodating and helpful, and again, so patient! I would highly recommend Dr. Batla to anyone!

Although it was a phone appointment, I understand the neccesity of it due to COVID-19 restrictions. Dr. Koulouris was very kind and patient in hearing my health concerns and addressed each one with a positive and determined resolution. I appreciate her time and am very happy to have found one of the few doctors that take the time to listen and help improve my health.

She is great! She asked me a few questions to get to know me as a person and let me ask her questions to get to know her. It was my first appointment with her, and it mostly felt like a conversation. When I asked questions about one area of my health, she was able to provide me with information and how to do better with my well-being. The appointment was very comfortable (even though it was a video appointment due to COVID-19), and I have not always had that with previous doctors I've had.

Dr. Koulouris was very approachable. It had been a while since I'd seen a PCP but we were able to discuss all of the questions I had about some symptoms I'd been experiencing. For the things that weren't in her specialty, she was able to immediately give me the reference info for a specialist. The only problem was that at the end, she left the room and I didn't know what to do with the forms I'd filled out. I was literally the last person she saw that day so I think everyone had headed out to go home. I didn't want to just leave my info lying around. Ended up getting locked out and having to knock on the door until a nurse came and took my forms. But Dr. Koulouris was excellent and the staff was really warm and attentive up until closing time.
No one likes to go to the doctor, right? I have been to several locations in the Cambridge Health Alliance network and have finally found the best one (no offense to other locations). First up...PARKING! The lot is spacious, free (ahem- Cambridge Hospital) you don't have to park on the street, and you don't have to walk up a huge hill (ahem- Somerville Hospital). The young woman at reception was lovely. The waiting area is spacious with high ceilings, that make it feel like you're less likely to contract any illness with the large space and open air flow. After a short wait (I was early) I was called back into the exam room by Steve who was super upbeat, welcoming, and personable. This makes a huge difference to Dr.-office-averse people like myself. Then Dr. Koulouris came into the room and she was everything I could hope for. Easy to talk to, professional, intelligent. She really took time to discuss all of my concerns, gave me some great information, and above all, she genuinely cared. I have nothing but great things to say about everyone I encountered- even the nurse with the needle (whose name wish I remembered) who managed to administer the least painful flu shot I have yet to receive. I walked out of the place with a smile, knowing that I have finally found a great medical center for all of my future needs.

I thought she could have been more thorough. I was there for my first physical in 2 years and the only "check-up" she completed was looking in my ears and listening to my heart and lungs. She did not really ask anything about my family health history either physical or mental either. She was able to provide me with the referrals I needed for other doctors, which was helpful.

I came in to address one issues, but during conversation, she was able to help me with some few other things that were going on and referred me to specialists she thinks will be able to help. She was extremely knowledgeable about a variety of topics, prompted me for the information she needed, and was kind and easy to talk to. Overall, easily my best experience with a doctor to date (and I've seen a lot)!

I'm definitely sticking with Dr. Koulouris as my PCP. She actually listened to me and my concerns regarding changes I'd noticed in myself that my previous doctor waved away. In a month she has got me on the road to figuring out with a care team what is going on rather than the last dr who was more concerned with my BMI than what I was actually experiencing.
