Hello! My name is Shnarika Powell, I'm a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. I have over 10 years of experience in psychiatric-behavioral health care field, I have experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I am genuine, fun, hard-working, educated and passionate. My friends would say I lead patients to healing. My approach to treating patients include a thoughtful, honest but strategic and evidenced-based style. Please note that I am open minded. We will discuss treatment options entirely and mutually agree on a plan that works for you! I specialize in treating individuals who may be recovering from real life issues, divorces, breakups, abuse, loneliness etc. If you were diagnosed post-traumatic stress disorder, major depression, anxiety, insomnia and/or ADHD I am the provider for you. My goal is to help navigate through inevitable life events, by offering support, compassion, genuine connection, advice and medications when appropriate. My recommendations are always safe and hold your best interest at heart; I am enthusiastic about wellness and self-care, I truly believe until we care about ourselves it is impossible to care for others. *Please make sure that we accept your insurance plan. *Please complete necessary intake forms 24 hours, prior to your visit, our office will contact you once your appointment has been scheduled, these forms can be completed using docusign. *Please be advised that we are only accepting virtual appointments currently.
