Charles B. Wang Community Health Center
The Charles B. Wang Community Health Center is a nonprofit and federally qualified health center, established in 1971. We ensure that all members of our community—regardless of ability to pay—are provided with quality, comprehensive and culturally effective primary healthcare.
We are located in Chinatown, Manhattan and Flushing, Queens, and are open 7 days a week. We have staff fluent in many languages, including Mandarin, Cantonese, Taishanese, Shanghainese, Fujianese, Vietnamese, and Korean. If you don’t have health insurance, you may qualify for our sliding fee scale to reduce the cost of your care.
We believe that everyone should have the same opportunity to achieve their highest level of health.

I see Dr. Carolyn Chang since 2020 for my 20 months baby. She is his pediatrician and has been the best doctor ever. I have changed so many Pedetration until I found her. She always makes time to see my son wether on the video or in office and takes time to answer all my questions and concerns. She is super friendly and always thinks of the best for my child. Dr Chang is, by far, the best pediatrician in NYC. She is an excellent doctor and treats children with compassion. She has been my granddaughter’s doctor since birth and I couldn’t imagine any other doctor treating her.

My child was in the care of Dr. Chang today and we were about an hour late because I'm new to the area. She still agreed to see my son and proceeded rather quickly to call us in her office. She connected with my son on his level and I must say she made a great first impression.
