Conveniently located in historic Thompson Square in Charlestown, Massachusetts, just outside of Boston. Dr. Yen has taken over for Dr. Goldman who had been located in Charlestown since 1983 and treats both children and adults. His attentive dental staff makes you feel welcome and comfortable. Dr. Yen takes most major dental plans, he is in network with Delta Dental PPO & Premiere, Blue Cross Blue Shield Indemnity of Massachusetts and Metlife and he is currently accepting new patients. Dr. Yen looks forward to being your family dentist.
The goal at our Charlestown dental office is to provide quality dental care with total patient comfort. We would like to treat every patient as if they are a member of our dental family. To achieve this goal, we strive to see patients when scheduled and finish treatment in a timely manner. We value your time. We use the most modern sterilization techniques and work with insurance companies to maximize your benefits. Our dental office is located in historic Charlestown with close access to bus and subway.

I could not recommend Dr. Yen and his team enough for locals. The experience was great. The staff helped me find the correct insurance as my employer had recently changed our provider.
The dental hygienist was detail oriented and took care of my dental concerns.
The doctor’s check was friendly, chill, and to the point.
The office staff was able to schedule my next appointment and I will be back!!!

I cannot speak highly enough about the staff at Charlestown Dental Care, about the service provided, and about Dr. Yen’s skills, demeanor and his professionalism.
My visit was a last minute booking because of a missing filling to a rear molar. I was so pleased that Dr. Yen’s office could accommodate me.
The office staff was friendly, efficient and quick in getting me signed in. They were able to answer all my questions. I loved their smiles.
Dr. Yen made me feel at home once I got into the dental chair. He was clear and precise in explaining his assessment of my problem and his recommendations.
The procedure itself was pain free and done very quickly. I was in and out of the office in less than 45 minutes.
I highly recommend to anyone looking for a capable, professional, and competent dentist to book with Charlestown Dental Care over in Thompson Square and Dr. Yen.

The doctor and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. They asked to move up my appointment so we’d have plenty of time to do what I needed/asked to have looked at. The doctor was very quick and efficient but still really made me feel like care was being taken. I will be coming back for cleanings, etc for sure!

I will say, the girls at the Front desk were friendly. My appointment was 11am. Didn't get seen until 11:45. The Dental Assistant was VERY sweet, friendly, easy to talk to, and she did a great job. The dental. Hygienist...I'm still on the fence about. I didn't feel a connection with her, which left me feeling quite uncomfortable, while she was cleaning my teeth. But my overall experience, it was an ok visit. I've been to better places.
