Dr. Tai is very patient, calm and to the point. All details explained carefully to ensure I fully understand the procedures and after-care. I have visited a few times this year for both preventive care and some fixes, I very much feel like my teeth are in good hands! Also the front-desk Jennifer is also very nice and helpful in explaining my insurance questions.

Have to admit, I have a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist. Visiting Dr. Tai was a great experience! He was very kind and took his time to explain everything to me very well. He is also mindful of pain management during your visit. Booking my initial appointment was easy as was booking a follow-up. The office took proper precautions for covid as well.

Dr. Tai was so great and so were his staff. I don't normally like to get my teeth cleaned but he was really gentle and patient. This appointment also came with the most thorough explanation of what was happening with my teeth I've ever gotten. It was complete with pictures and x-rays so I knew exactly where the problem areas were. I normally wait until I go home to California to see my dentist I've had my whole life, but I think I've found my replacement in New York! :)

If you want a Dentist who talks a lot Dr. Tai probably isn't for you, but personally I don't like chatty Dentists because I can't really respond when they're all up in my mouth. I love going to see Dr. Tai because he knows what he's doing - he sits you down, does all the cleaning and stuff himself (no dental hygienist first), and has all the latest teeth technology. He usually plays classical music while he works, which I find really calming. I wouldn't say his cleaning style is gentle - but again I like that he's really cleaning my teeth truly and fully. Some people may not think he's friendly but by the second time he opens up a lot! I highly recommend if he sounds like your style!

Dr. Tai was wonderful. He was very thorough and helpful, answered all my questions, and even though I was late to the appointment he offered to stay late to do two fillings in one sitting. He also was very upfront about the price and made sure he asked me if it was okay before he began any of the work. When he saw on my paperwork that I have anxiety issues, he told me to make sure I raise my left hand if at any point I needed to take a break. He was great.

Dr. Cheng Tai was great!! He took his time and explained everything he was doing, and educated me very well on the condition of my teeth and gums. I liked that he didn't push anything on me just made recommendations and offered to check with the insurance company in regards to what they would cover before I made a decision to move forward with anything so I would not have to pay out of pocket. He took photos and X-rays and explained each and every one of them to me. I showed up 10 minutes late and he was very nice about it and saw me as soon as I finished filling out the paperwork (which wasn't much at all). He even had one of his "girls" out sick but still managed to be very attentive. I already have a follow-up appointment to get a couple of cavities filled next week. I highly recommend Dr. Cheng Tai!

Very thorough in his analysis, did both an X-ray as well as a photographic exam. He pulled up all the images from the two exams to explain all the details of what was wrong and what needed to be fixed. Very straight forward about what is and is not covered by insurance
