Dr. Chen employs actual Chinese Medicine techniques in her treatment. Her techniques were learned from her family, four generations of masters of Asian healing techniques. For new patients or those versed in acupuncture, her techniques pinch slightly more sharply than those of American acupuncturists. However, the power in her treatment is undeniable. I was suffering from a series of maladies, including chronic illness complications so extreme that I couldn't eat, keep anything down, I couldn't sleep, and my heart raced nonstop day or night. When she placed the needles, my first thought was, "Woo!" as there was a brief prick for each. My second thought was, "Wait, is my heart calming down?" This is some of the most powerful treatment that I have ever received. She is now one of the most important parts of my permanent weekly medical care plan.
