Our mission is to provide excellent medical care in an environment that promotes wellness, supports families, honors diversity, and respects the unique needs of every patient. We are your partners in caring for your child from birth to age 21 years. We cherish the individual and community relationships we have developed since Children’s Medical Association opened its doors in Plantation in 1966, and we pledge to continue to be here to serve our community in our offices, over the phone and through telemedicine services over our patient portal, 7 days per week, for many many years to come.

Our first pediatric visit with Dr. Tamia was an amazing experience! From the moment we walked in with our newborn, her team was warm, efficient, and incredibly friendly. Just five days into parenthood, we had so many questions and anxieties, but Dr. Tamia created an environment that was both comforting and affirming.
She explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, without ever making us feel overwhelmed. What stood out most was how authentic and genuine she was…she didn’t just care for our baby, she made sure mom and dad felt seen, heard, and supported as well. That meant so much to us as new parents.
We left the appointment feeling educated, confident, and truly cared for. We couldn’t ask for a better start to our journey with our little one, and we’re so grateful to have Dr. Tamia guiding us along the way. And trust that she actually cares!
