Christian Holistic Being, Counseling and Wellness

CHB provides Christian counseling from a Biblical worldview. Spiritual integration and physical exercise can be utilized in the course of therapy. A warm, comfortable, and inviting setting is offered. Individual sessions available for ages 5 and older. Work with couples and families can also be provided. Wilderness Therapy groups can be provided as well. If interested, please notify your therapist. Common disorders or challenges that are treated include anxiety, depression, Autism Spectrum Disorder, mood and adjustment disorders, grief, loss, bereavement, divorce, family or relational problems, assertiveness issues, anger management, career adjustment or indecision, as well as other disorders and challenges as described in the DSM V. Appropriate referrals will be made in the event that your needs or expectations are different than that of CHB. An integrative, theoretical orientation is utilized and adjusted depending on the needs of the client. The most common theories utilized include CBT, Client-Centered, Solution Focused,and Psychodynamic Therapy. EMI treatment can be provided for trauma recovery. Goals for therapy are identified with the client and counselor, based upon the best interest of the client. Services are provided in a compassionate, empathetic manner that is non-judgmental and sensitive. In the event that you believe yourself not to be safe from yourself or someone else, please dial 911.
