This place is really nice. Very friendly and professional. My exam was thorough and the doctor explained everything along the way. Just FYI this place is boutique fancy ;) meaning the prices for any pair of glasses is really steep.

They did NOT accept my insurance, so complete waste of time. Not sure if Zocdoc sent me to the wrong place or they misled Zocdoc, but in the end they said services would be 'out of network' so I left in frustration.

Unfortunately, I was running late to my appointment. I tried contacting them through the app first, but couldn’t find any contact information. So I Googled the address & figured out the ph number to the optical shop that the doctor works out of, called Line of Site. I then called them twice AND texted them twice. (It says on their site that they prefer texts.) The reason I was trying to contact them was to ask, if I got there at 12:15 for a 12:00 appt, would I still be seen?? I was coming from 30+min away. I didn’t want to go all the way down to Chelsea if they weren’t going to see me. However, there is no way to get a hold of them! I think that’s very odd & extremely frustrating for customers. I walked in at 12:16 & was told I couldn’t be seen bc they “only give a 15 min grace period”. The girl was just super rude to me. She made no apologies for not answering the phone or the texts. She was so cold, like she didn’t care at all that I had been desperately trying to reach them.
Am I the only one who looks forward to their yearly eye exam now? Once you visit Line of Sight, you will understand yourself. Thank you for making enjoyable experience and environment.
