Colonial Medical Center is one of the most respected independent group practices in the Chicago metro area and celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2008. Colonial Medical Center maintains the vision of its founder, Mario Correa, M.D., who began planning the practice in 1973.
The mission of Colonial Medical Center is to assist our patients, communities, physicians and employees in achieving their optimum state of well-being by providing superior care and personalized attention. Dr. Pena was excellent! She was about 20 minutes late, but apologized profusely and said that she thought someone from the office called me. She was thorough and even followed up with me via the patient portal when my lab results came back. I was impressed and will be visiting her again.

Her front office staff was also very friendly when they called to confirm my appointment and collect my insurance information. I'm glad to have found a new doctor!

Dr. Pena was very friendly and understanding. She listened to all of my concerns and helped with referrals within my new network. She also took the fact that I am high risk for COVID seriously and made me feel comfortable moving forward with bloodwork and x-rays by giving options for lower trafficked locations.
