Concentric Counseling and Consulting

We are a Chicago counseling and therapy group practice in The Loop and Sauganash neighborhoods offering individual counseling services for adults and emerging adults, couples counseling and marriage therapy, tween, adolescent therapy, family counseling, online video counseling and teletherapy, couples intensives and retreats, group therapy as well as consulting services. The therapists at Concentric believe, value, and hold space for people who come from various walks of life and who are navigating and expressing their authentic selves. We are LGBTQIA+ affirming, and believe in the importance of recognizing and honoring one’s ethnicity, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, and religious and spiritual beliefs. Some of the clinical areas we specialize in are relationship struggles, anxiety, trauma and complex trauma (C-PTSD), depression, mind-body connection, transitions, stress, identity, purpose & meaning, and substance misuse. Concentric circles all share the same center, such as tree rings and rippling water droplets. As children, teens, and adults we stand in the innermost circle of a concentric circle, yet, we do not exist completely in isolation. Throughout our life, we co-exist in other relationships and influential systems represented by the outer concentric circles. Some of these significant relationships and systems include our upbringing and home life, partners and spouse, families, friends and peers, school, work, our community at large, and other systemic and cultural frameworks. Concentric Counselors and therapy can help you to understand yourself better within the context of your relationships and systems. Looking at ourselves and our relationships through the lens of concentric circles, we also recognize at the center or core, people of all ages share similar experiences, feelings, and thoughts. At some point, we can all relate to feeling down, sad, anxious, stuck, frustrated, or lonely. We all want to be understood, connected, valued, and loved.
