Confidently You Counseling PLLC
Confidently You Counseling PLLC was founded by Carolyn Simon, LCPC, with the goal of providing accessible, compassionate therapy to individuals across Illinois who are seeking meaningful and lasting positive change. I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.
I use a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Positive Psychology, Strengths-Based Therapy, and more. Because every person is unique, I tailor my approach to fit your individual needs, goals, and experiences. I believe in the importance in having ongoing conversations throughout our sessions to gauge your feelings of progress and improvement, and am flexible to make adjustments as necessary.
I believe that quality mental health care should be accessible. I accept a variety of insurance plans and also work with out-of-network clients to help make therapy as affordable and manageable as possible.
Above all, I believe that every person has the capacity for meaningful growth and positive change. Whether you're navigating a difficult life transition, struggling with anxiety or depression, working through relationship concerns, or simply looking to better understand yourself, I would be honored to support you on your journey.
