I highly recommend Dr. Cockerill. He's knowledgeable and pleasant to speak with. He is a good listener and allowed me the time to talk through my current issues. What I liked best about him is that he knew when to interject and redirect the conversation during our 1st session. He asked specific questions versus just allowing me to ramble on and on, taking over the entire session. Had a second session with him earlier this week and like that he offers suggestions and ideas for trying something new.

I had a great first conversation with Dr. Richard Cockerill. He listened carefully to my concerns and explained things clearly, which made me feel comfortable. Even though I had my own thoughts going in, I felt he took the time to explore all possibilities and didn’t just rush to a conclusion. I’d recommend him to anyone looking for a thoughtful and communicative psychiatrist. Can't wait for the follow-up.
