Staff was friendly and worked quickly and professionally. Dr Sjostrand was friendly, listened and communicated effectively, and provided thoughtful and constructive feedback in establishing a plan of care. I didn’t feel rushed in or out of the office, was given time to communicate my medical history and to express what concerns brought me into the office. The environment was calm and comfortable. An ideal environment and doctor for those who may find being in medical settings difficult or anxiety inducing.

David Sjostrand is a fantastic practitioner. It took me 10 years to find a doctor that always listens to my concerns without interrupting me and hears me out to understand my perspective on what I believe is going on with me. He makes great treatment suggestions that work, but he is always receptive to any ideas I may have for my treatment, as long as they are reasonable and safe. He’s always cordial and kind. He’s authentic. I believe he truly cares for his patients. I always feel equal to and never less. He is a patient man. I can be a handful sometimes and he’s always shown the same amount of care even when I’m not having the best of days. David is the best damn doctor I can recall ever seeing in my life. I am very thankful that he stayed in the Treasure Valley at Core Medicine after Saltzer’s exodus from Idaho. Anyway, he’s a fantastic doctor and all-around good human being. He is at Core Medicine on enterprise in Caldwell, Idaho, right off I-84. Worth the drive from Boise.??????

I was asked to show up 30
Mins early for paperwork that doesn’t take that long to fill out. I was called back at the time of my appointment. Then I wasn’t seen by the doctor until 35 mins after my appointment time. In total time I was at the office for over an hour and half. The staff were friendly and nurse practitioner was very helpful and professional.

Core Medicine is an interesting style of doctors office. There is everything from a general family practice, to psychiatry, blood testing/illness support, to urgent care.
The providers, office staff, and every employee I’ve both interacted with or just been around are an incredible team. Thorough, knowledgeable, and always cheerful; health care, doctors offices, and hospitals are often hard to trust and somewhat cold but Core Medicine is the exact opposite.
If asked by a friend for a recommendation, Core has my vote. It’s rare to find any type of health care business that is, at the very least, approachable. Core goes above and beyond to remove, at least my, dread of doctors offices/health care. That one aspect alone is worth the recommendation,

I finally feel heard about my problems. She asked me my opinion on my care plan, so I felt included, which typically hasn't happened with previous physicians. I am very happy to establish her as my doctor. Also, both the nurses we're great and made me feel comfortable. The girls at the front we're also very friendly.
