The medical staff was great. A few issues though. First, the receptionist could not care less about anything. She wasn’t rude, just absolutely NOT mentally present. Second, the company made me pay in advance because I have a high deductible health plan and it’s February, so I still had a deductible to pay. I thought this was absurd. This is the problem with medicine today - the people who administer the care are not engaged and the transaction is totally one-sided. Also. Rather than have rugs, the receptionist had spread surgical pads in front of the reception station which looked unprofessional and nasty.

People working in the office were very nice. Receptionists, nurse, PA, really professional and caring personnel.
The office itself looks run down.
Paint is peeling, the blood pressure cuff is not sticking around the arm, loose cables are hanging on the wall in the waiting room from the tv etc.

The medical staff is top rate. The new systems at the office have put into place are not adequate and have disrupted everything. Because of the use of ZocDoc, appointments that are scheduled online are no longer visible to the office staff. No one is permitted to do anything electronically without going through the Zocdoc app. Even though I received a confirmation by texting an email of the appointment, because I did not use this app. It was not input into the system. That is according to the privacy policy of the app. That privacy policy is not acceptable for the protection of my personal health information. If this facility continues to use Zocdoc as a required part of the appointment process, we may switch to a different facility.

Everyone at this Urgent Care Office was so very nice, polite, helpful, considerate. Answered all my concerns about what was going on with me.I didn’t have to wait long. The office, restrooms, and exam room was very nice and clean.

The provider didn't honor my confirmed appointment made through ZocDoc and showed zero empathy that we would be considered a walk-in with over a 2 hour wait. Staff was confrontational and apathetic. Don't use ZocDoc. Don't use Corewell Urgent Care.

Very efficient. Receptionist took care of me right away. Nurse was friendly and made me feel comfortable. PA was in the room within a couple of minutes. Explained what my problem was and the way to correct it. Whole appointment was very efficient

I registered for my appt online thru ZocDoc. When I arrived, the office had no record of it. I was told I had to fill out all information again, using my phone. When I tried to do so, I was sent a code multiple times. Every time I entered the 6 digit code, the response was that the number was wrong. After about 4 tries, I gave up. Fortunately the receptionist was very nice and competent. She helped me get registered by taking my ID and insurance card and entering everything herself. She saved the day. Awesome girl. But the check in experience was not smooth - very frustrating. Dr visit itself went fine.

I have been to this urgent care twice and had a good experience both times. The friendly, efficient staff and the ease of registering was great. The doctor was kind and knowledgeable and I felt confident in his diagnosis. I was able to get my prescription soon after my appointment.
I spoke to a friend later and mentioned how satisfied I was with the experience.

I told my friends that I wished they helped more, that I might go to my sons regular doc tomorrow and pretend we didn’t even go to urgent care. And my best friend wants me to take him to ER now because he had a 104.6 temp after going.

When the doctor was in the room with us she said that there was no history on my daughter. Odd, since we always use the same urgent care. After leaving the property I noticed that my daughters last name had the wrong letter at the end. An N not an M. Also odd because it didn't match the insurance card that I uploaded. I immediately called the location, spoke with Mindy who had checked us in. I let her know that the name was incorrect. She said that she would merge the file. I then requested that the PA compare the xrays from both appointments and phone me. No calls. I called the office a second time. Was told that the little sheet I had to fill out looked like it ended in a N not a M. So that was the problem?? Even though We have to do our own registration with Zocdoc. I still left another message for a call on the xray comparision and have not received a call back.

I was pleased with my appointment and my care.
The only issue was with the booking itself. For some reason the ZocDoc system doesn't transfer offer to the actual Corewell Health office. They
saw I had an appointment but could not see any of the other information that was required to complete the booking. For me it was easy because my insurance was accepted. For others that may be a huge issue in obtaining care. The systems need to be reviewed for that reason.

Usually I go to the emergency room but since this issue seems less dangerous, I decided to go to urgent care instead. All the staff were super friendly and they also seemed to care about my condition. They were very through and eventually decided I needed to go to the Emergency Room for blood draws and other tests.
I would definitely go there again and recommend anyone needed quick and good quality care to visit this urgent care.

Made an appt. For noon and walked in on my lunch and they said at least a 45 minutes wait because people were ahead of me. The. Why make an appointment. I had to leave. What is the point of an appointment!!!!!
