Cori Bayardelle
I am a psychotherapist who is committed to supporting adolescents and adults managing the complex world of behavioral health and addiction. My approach is grounded in harm reduction, mindfulness-based interventions and compassion, which delves into what is driving the problematic symptoms that greatly impact your overall quality of life. Our work is centered around your goals and reconnecting you to what matters most. My practice is also rooted in Polyvagal Theory, which is a neuroscience framework for restoring calm and connection. Through a somatic, Polyvagal informed lens, we can create space to explore what is driving depression, anxiety or addiction and begin to cultivate skillful and psychologically flexible responses.
I received my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University and hold a NYS CASAC certification for substance related disorders. I have progressive experience in both hospital and outpatient settings supporting clients with both mental health and substance related disorders.
