Cortes Counseling is a clinical group private practice that provides psychotherapy and psychiatric medication management services. Our practice specializations and expertise are in: anxiety, depression, anger, trauma/PTSD, individual counseling, career, psycho-religious counseling, couples & marriage counseling, separation & divorce, child & family therapy, and parenting counseling. We also offer generalist and specialist services with expertise in differential diagnoses and prognoses ranging from mild to severe mental health disorders and/or substance use disorders. We service all of New Haven County and Fairfield County areas. Cortes Counseling has clinical specialties in working with children, teens, young adults, adults, couples/marriages, & families. We also utilize an abundance of theoretical and empirical schools of Psychology, Theories, and Interventions/Modalities in clinical practice that fit the needs of a wide array of clients presenting concerns. We accept most insurances, including: Husky/Medicaid, Medicare, Connecticare, UnitedHealthCare (UHC), Optum, Oxford, Aetna, Cigna/Evernorth, Carelon, Anthem, BlueCross Blue Shield (BCBS), Magellan, and Tricare/Humana, etc., as well as Out-of-Pocket clients.
