Aileen is kind, understanding, and knowledgeable. She listens well, answers my questions, and gives insightful feedback.

I attended sessions with Aileen for three months. During that time, I often felt that our therapeutic relationship was not collaborative or focused on me but rather I felt more like just a case study to her. I often left sessions feeling more distressed and triggered than supported. Aileen preparing a cake with her camera off for during the majority of my session was my final straw with her. This made me very upset. When I brought up my concerns, I felt that I was belittled and talked down to rather than heard and understood. Aileen told me her and Joanne Kingston were discussing to discharge me from their practice, during my last session Aileen spoke to me unlike any therapist should ever treat a client. Aileen said quote “I’m not here because I want to be here for you necessarily, but because you hired me for a service”. Ultimately I chose to step away on my own due to the conflicts and stress I was facing from this. This was a very difficult experience for me. I do not recommend.

My child and I have been seeing Ai for over 2 years, she has always been professional, helpful, and has a wealth of knowledge. I have actually referred several people to her and have seen my child grow exponentially and find their voice and the ability to figure out who they are. I highly recommend Ai as a therapist!!
