Welcome to Courageous Living Mental Health Consultants Psychiatric Services: I am Marcela Alvarez-Lazo, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, a dedicated mental health professional committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care tailored to each individual's unique needs. At my practice, we offer a comprehensive range of services designed to support mental wellness and recovery. I am a graduate of the University of Miami, where I obtained my doctorate in nursing practice and adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner certification. I am dual board certified as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, and adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner with over 15 years of experience in nursing. I am also adjunct faculty at FGCU’s school of nursing. Our Services Include: Psychiatric Evaluations – Thorough assessments to understand your mental health needs and guide personalized treatment plans. Medication Management – Careful monitoring and adjustments of psychiatric medications to ensure safety and effectiveness.
