Life has a lot of stressors coming your way daily. I work with individuals to provide a safe space to reframe, challenge and explore new ways of thinking. I am engaging, open, and empathetic to your needs. I would love to meet you and begin helping you on your healing journey. I provider Virtual healing sessions to individuals across the state of North Carolina. I specialize in assisting clients understand the confusion that anxiety clouds and depression storms can cause by facilitating expressions of feelings, challenging self defeating thoughts and encouraging change. I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Techniques with Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness skills included.

I've been searching for mental health help for 3+ years. Between insurance yanking me around, counselors I don't mesh with, counselors switching practices, the inability to get an appointment, etc. it's very much been a losing effort. I’ve worked with Maurice for about 2 years now. I chose him after a couple consultations at the beginning of the pandemic because I was struggling to get over a guy I met, knew all the things I should be doing to move on, but just wasn’t doing them. At first, his swiftness to offer solutions made me question whether I’d made the right choice. He just didn’t listen long enough yet to consider everything and come to an understanding conclusion.
