Established in 2019. Cute Smile in Hackensack is our new clinic, though Dr Kathawala has been practising for over a decade in Jersey city NJ. This is a BOUTIQUE clinic where she sees limited patients and provide lots of time and attention to each patient. Unlike others, she is not driven to see a lot of patients and rush. You will love the relaxing atmosphere; the clinic is nestled in an old ( but completely updated) historic building, and the first floor has the dental clinic. All over the clinic there is old world charm and details. There is ample FREE parking on site so you will not have to stress about parking during your appointment. The staff is trained to beat your expectation and Dr K is committed to making sure you get the best attention and treated like royalty.

I have to say, my dental cleaning with Dr. Samina Kathawala was the best dental cleaning experience I’ve ever had! This was my very first time coming to their office and it was clean with no wait time! I was seen immediately after I completed my new patient forms! Very friendly staff who made sure I was well taken cared of. Dr. Samina answered all of my questions and cleaned my teeth without having the water drool all over me (how my past experiences were); it was dental cleaning to perfection. I will surely continue coming here and highly recommend everyone to book your dental appointments with them! :)

My appointment with Dr. Kathawala was overwhelmingly positive! This was my first visit. Because I had a surgery with metal plates in my leg, the Dr. informed me that I needed to take antibiotics before the cleaning and was willing to accommodate this even though it was a later appointment on a Sunday. She not only did the cleaning, but got my teeth bonded. I am beyond appreciative of her communication, knowledge, help, time and bedside manner (especially because I am a terrible patient). I also appreciate the clear communication regarding my insurance coverage and any additional costs upfront! After fighting with my medical insurance for 8 months, I have no energy left to fight with dental insurance too.

Dr Samina was nice and took the time to explain everything. They took X rays and dr Samina walk me through my Xrays. The staff seemed very organized. This was second visit. I had chipped tooth due to an accident and Dr samina did Dental bonding. Dental bonding isnt covered by insurance and I was offered reasonable fee. The end result was amazing. I will contine to go here.
I would HIGHLY recommend Dr Kathawala. I was there for my routine cleaning and exam; she was in no rush, took the time to answer all my questions. Explained everything, showed me my X rays. She gave me a clean bill of health that I have NO cavities and NO issues in my teeth. She seem very honest and very intelligent. Appointment and reminders were perfect and the whole team seem very organised. They had my paperwork ready, which I have filled and emailed them before hand and when I arrived I had ZERO wait time.
I would not recommend her. She does not give enough time to the patient, she is always in a hurry. Does not have assistant. Hygiene not very satisfactory. Appointments not accurate.
