I offer mainly visits by video, with new appointments usually available within a week. I have limited in person appointments for new patients. For an initial visit I would only send a prescription to a pharmacy within New York State.
I provide a personalized service of high quality and individual attention. I take time during our visits in order to offer both psychotherapy and medication management.
I have been Board Certified in Psychiatry for more than 20 years. I completed my medical school at the University of Paris, and my psychiatry residency at Yale University. For more than 10 years I was Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry Cornell Medical College and Unit Chief at NewYork Presbyterian in a psychiatric inpatient unit.
PLEASE COMPLETE THE BASIC INFORMATION FORM, in order to have appointment confirmed, otherwise you agree to have your appointment rescheduled until you complete it.
I treat all mental illness for adult or adolescents. I have a special clinical expertise and interest in the following areas:
Psychopharmacology (Anxiety, mood, psychosis, personality disorder), Psychotherapy (Eclectic approach including CBT, insight-oriented and narrative therapy), Young Adults, Geriatrics, Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual concerns, Transcultural, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Forensic.
For information about research and publications, please consult my website: www.drosenmd.com
I do not participate in any health insurance, however I will fill up a detailed receipt for each visit which can be used to get reimbursed from an health insurance.
At this time, I cannot see a patient on Medicare, even if the patient is willing to pay privately. The payment is made by credit card during the visit.
