***I CANNOT PRESCRIBE MEDICATION, I AM NOT A PSYCHIATRIST. ***
*** I DO NOT ACCEPT INSURANCE. ***
My practice operates on a self-pay basis at a rate of $200 per one-hour session. After your appointment, you will receive a superbill to submit for reimbursement from your insurance provider. Please only book an appointment if you are prepared to pay out of pocket and handle the reimbursement process.
I work with individuals and families to navigate the complexities associated with mental health and substance use challenges. My expertise is in the treatment of anxiety, depression, addiction, and OCD. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in business development for various tech companies in the United States and internationally. My journey through these non-clinical careers gives me a unique ability to identify and treat individuals using non-clinical skills who need direction applicable to their complex journeys.
By incorporating a blend of clinical expertise and real-world understanding, I aim to provide a holistic and practical approach to support individuals on their path to recovery. This dual perspective enables me to bridge the gap between traditional therapeutic methods and the suitable needs of those navigating the complexities of mental health.
My practice is cash pay for the following reasons:
* Cash pay services allow for more flexibility and control over treatment decisions, without being subject to insurance limitations or requirements.
* Insurance companies often impose strict criteria for diagnoses and treatment, which can lead to clinicians being forced to use standardized or brief treatment approaches that may not be optimal for a particular client.
* Cash pay services can provide more privacy and confidentiality for clients, since insurance companies often require a diagnosis and other personal information to be shared in order to approve treatment.
* Cash pay services may be more cost-effective for clients who don't have insurance or who have high-deductible plans, since they can often negotiate lower rates and avoid costly copays or coinsurance payments.
* Cash pay services can allow for more continuity of care, since clients don't have to switch providers or treatment settings if their insurance changes or coverage is terminated.
* Avoiding potential insurance issues: Receiving a mental health diagnosis through insurance may potentially impact eligibility for life insurance or result in higher premiums.
A super-bill is provided at the end of each month. This is a document that contains all the necessary information about the therapy services you have received, including the date, type of service, and the amount charged. It also includes the therapist's credentials and the appropriate diagnostic codes. The superbill is a useful tool for clients who are paying out of pocket for therapy services, as it allows them to submit the bill to their insurance company for a partial refund on services. With a superbill, clients can obtain reimbursement directly from their insurance company, as long as their insurance policy covers mental health services.

So I showed up a day early by mistake, and when he called me telling me my appointment was tomorrow, he immediately offered an option. He mentioned if I wait an hour at the office he would be willing to see me which was really nice of him. When I first met him to wait in the office, he seemed a little annoyed, but I still waited. Then something went wrong with my insurance, which made the situation seem a little more tense, but he said he would talk to me anyways. Once I sat down on the couch, and he started talking to me, everything changed. I don't know if I just got lucky, because this is the first therapy session I've ever done or what, but David connected with me on a very personal level and gave me very blunt insight and talked to me in the most realest way possible. My first session with him made me feel heard and understood beyond anything I ever expected. He may not be for everyone, but definitely the guy for me. I highly recommend booking with David. Truly genuine.

Dave’s sessions have truly brought meaningful changes to my life. He creates a safe space where you can openly share your thoughts and feelings without judgment. He listens with patience and offers insightful analogies that simplify even the most complex problems.
I was struggling to let go of past hurt, and with just one simple yet profound analogy—“Someone drank poison, and the other person died”—he helped me see things from a new perspective and let go of what was holding me back.
Dave’s guidance has been a blessing in my journey of healing and growth. If you’re looking to move on from the past and create a brighter future, I highly recommend working with him. His wisdom and compassion can truly make a difference.

I had the privilege of working with Dave, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. His patience, attentive listening, and ability to thoroughly understand and articulate problems are truly remarkable. Dave connects the dots seamlessly, using precise terminology to identify root issues and offering practical strategies for a more positive outlook.
Each session with Dave has been transformative, equipping me with valuable insights and techniques that have greatly enhanced my personal growth. His communication is clear and approachable, making complex concepts easy to understand and apply.
If you’re looking for someone to help you navigate challenges, rewrite your narrative, and achieve meaningful self-improvement, Dave is the person to trust. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with him and wholeheartedly recommend his services to anyone seeking a thoughtful, effective, and inspiring coach or mentor.

As someone with a lot of therapy experience, I could tell very quickly that David had both experience & understanding of various treatment modality’s. Where I am just beginning to work with him, I have a lot of confidence he is a great next step for my needs, and my continued growth.

From scheduling to intake, the process was fast and clearly communicated. During my first appointment David really listened to my needs from the beginning to set me up to be comfortable opening up about my trauma. He was empathetic to the situation and was effortless in meeting me where I was at.

David brings a unique perspective that I have not experienced in a therapist before. I could tell from our first meeting that we were going to work well together.
He just seems to get it…

This guy is different than all the other therapists I’ve seen in the past. David takes a real life approach as opposed of sounding like he is reading from a therapist text book. He helped me quickly gain some relief from my stress and depression.
