David Hiltzik, P.C.
Dr Hiltzik is originally from New York and graduated from Suny Oneonta with a BS in chemistry in 1985. He graduated with honors, Cum Laude from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric medicine in 1989 and also received a BS in biology. In 1990 he did a 1 yr residency at Michigan Health Center in Detroit Michigan. He was also the clinical director of a 2yr surgical residency program from 1999-2003. He has been practicing in Waukegan and the Chicagoland area for over 30. His practice philosophy is to treat patients conservatively and to elevate treatment protocols as needed per individual. He treats all ages from children that just started to walk to senior citizens.
He has an interest in sports medicine and is extremely versed in orthotic therapy. Dr Hiltzik has treated weekend athletes to professional tennis players and understands the demands that playing sports has on ones feet. He also has been providing home visits for the last 20 yrs to seniors and individuals who are unable to come to the office without assistance.
His office manager is Maheli, who is in charge of scheduling, billing and other aspects of running the office.
His hobbies include skiing, fishing, golfing, softball, gardening and other outdoor activities. He also of course enjoys spending time with his family and his 2 dogs.

Dr Hiltzig was great. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and informative. He treated me quickly and effectively and explained the situation very clearly.
The office was very efficient and the office staff was nice and helpful. I had almost no wait time. I walked in with on-going pain and a few minutes later, I walked out without pain and with a lot more knowledge about the condition that brought me there.
