I am an experienced board certified Child, Adolescent Adult Psychiatrist.I am a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at New York University Medical Center.
I do integrated psychotherapy and medical management. I refer to colleagues as indicated.
My special interests are mood disorders, attention, deficit disorders , post partum issues and autistic spectrum disorders. I see individuals parents and families.

I waited online for 30 minutes and Inwood did not show up.
An hour after the appointment time, he called and showed no consideration for not having attended the appointment or for disregarding my time.
I have recently been laid off and lost my insurance, so when I booked the appointment I asked for someone to contact me beforehand to let me know about pricing since he does not have it listed on his profile.
His tone can be described as nothing other than pompous, when he simply said, "How much do you think a guy like me charges?"
So many things wrong with this.
This was an abhorrent and supremely arrogant way to speak to anyone, let alone a patient and someone who is evidently contacting you about current struggles with their mental health. His behavior was not only mind-bendingly rude, but frankly dangerous.
With many other empathetic and genuine providers surely out there, I feel that I must let people know to absolutely avoid Inwood.

Dr. Inwood is such a wonderful doctor. He is super knowledgeable, culturally sensitive, and extremely kind and empathic towards his patients. He really tries to get to know you holistically and offers practical solutions or treatments that can help. He listens intently and shows compassion, and lets you know that he’s there for you. I can’t say enough great things about him. Very blessed to have this doc!
