Dr. Markowitz was the first cataract surgeon in Delaware to implant a Restor multifocal intraocular lens and one of the first doctors to perform Laser Vision Correction in the state. His influence and legacy in the optical world continues to impact our patients and fellow opticians. Today, Delaware Eye Care Center has expanded throughout the state to include ten specialized doctors and six top-notch facilities. Our practice continues to set the standard in eye care by incorporating the expertise of our board-certified ophthalmologists, optometrists, and opticians to provide individualized treatment.

I have been going to Dr. Gardner for as long as I can remember. In fact, he recently moved to another office and I refused to see another doctor at his former place. So, I now travel almost 1 hour (each way) so that I can continue having him as my eye doctor.

The place is like a factory making widget. Go here, go there, sit down now go there. I remember no faces, just being ordered around like an army pvt. I did like being able to opt out of pupil dialation. I won’t know if they did a good job until I get the glasses. The glasses there are notoriously way over priced. I took the Rx to Warby Parker, I know they do a great job for half the price of the Eye Care Center. Healthcare in USA has gotten to be an inanely overpriced impersonal machine. It’s a house of cards that will fail and fall. I know good healthcare, recently treated at Helen Graham Cancer Center Newark Delaware, they do it right. They care, know you as a person, see to your comfort. They do it right. Peace.

The Doctor asked a few questions answered a few questions. I had asked the doctor to check behind his assistant to make sure that everything was correct. The receptionist at the front desk needed a password and when she came to the room door she was loud and unprofessional. The young guy that was helping us I don’t believe that he knew what he was doing the room that he had us in smelled like marijuana.
