I was informed that I needed a deep-cleaning. I explained that I shouldn't because Inhad one about a year ago, maybe 2 years. She told me that it didn't happen. I asked if my insurance would cover 2 deep-cleanings in 2 years, and she said "Probably not." I then I formed her that I have to contact my insurance to see how tonproceed. That I'm not going to pay for a second deep-cleaning, when I just had one. She said, "You don't have a choice." That's when I replied "My body, my choice. I'll do what I want." I don't understand why she would say such a thing when consent is essential to ethical medicine. Especially since I'm trying to figure out why I need a second deep-cleaning in such a short period of time. It's 1 of 2 things; the previous dentist did a lousy job, or 2) I'm being lied to so they can charge me for services I don't need. If she truly cared about her patients, she'd help me find an answer, instead of arguing with me over my bodily autonomy.

I’ve had some really poor experiences at dentists offices in the past but the recent experience with Dental One Annapolis blew me away. Dr. Benson was incredible and didn’t make me feel bad about the amount of work I need done. I left feeling comfortable and secure that she would listen and communicate any concerns. My experience for the first time was great!! Everyone was polite and professional. Dr Everett was very thorough and answered all my questions. I was very pleased with the check out procedure, Jennifer was very helpful and friendly and also Sway(the hygienist) forgive me if I spelled her name wrong). Overall I was well pleased and learned a few things too! I immediately recommended Dr Evrerett to my daughter.

I attempted submitting my intake forms several times and provided my insurance information, however it was never successfully captured in their system. The front desk staff that I spoke to wasn't at all friendly or helpful in attempting to resolve this and ultimately turned me off from actually continuing with my appointment. I wanted to support a Black-woman owned dental practice but the staff and the intake process were a bit too involved and frustrating.

I cried at that appointment. I drove 47 mins to do my annual cleaning appointment, only to be told that the appointment was canceled as my insurance was not verified. The office had called me on the 22nd to confirm. I even received a reminder text the day prior, for my appointment. Got there and was told that my appointment was canceled if the insurance was not verified. Not once was I told this and ALL the communication said I was "all set." The receptionist was uncaring in telling me this information. Asked for an office manager as I didn't see what I did wrong. Manager confirmed it was canceled as their system could not verify my in-network insurance. Seeing that they dropped the ball, I was allowed to see the dentist. Back office staff was rude and mentioned my insurance again. They took over my x-rays even though they were current, says doc couldn't read them. Finally had rhe doc come to do an exam but NO CLEANING. Left 3 hours later without a cleaning. I will never go back there.

As a new patient, I felt welcomed and heard. My concerns were met and things were explained to me clearly with next steps. Very friendly staff but a little lag at the checkout window. Overall, it was a pleasant visit.
I liked how they went over each step before they did it to make you feel comfortable. I didnt really spend that much time with the provider as it was mainly just a consult. I liked she explained things like what the numbers they were calling out and my xrays.

Their warm greeting and engagement made it a pleasant experience from the time I arrived until I left. During my visit, the Doctor and the assistant communicated every next step, and was patient when answering any questions. As soon as I left the office, I referred them to a very close friend. They get 5 Stars across the board.

My experience with this office was excellent! I am a new patient and Dr. Everett and her team were quite efficient and made me feel comfortable and confident that they were going to identify what was causing my pain in my tooth area. After their recommendations, I had some relief; an antibiotic and I was booked for a root canal on Thursday by their endodontist. Dr. Everette exceeded my expectations.
