This was my first visit with the dentist. The staff was friendly, from the front desk staff to the dental assistant.The dentist was friendly, patient and communicated well. (Very important to me) He provided a detailed explanation of the plan for future visits. The overall visit went well and I left feeling satisfied.
The wait time to check out was a bit excessive.

I was very impressed with the overall practice and offices. The staff that I dealt with were very professional very kind and understood that I’m not a big dentist lover overall. they were patient and understood my fears.

I had concerns and when I expressed them to staff I was made to feel stupid leaving very upset. When you have allergies to certain medications not knowing if a numbing of the mouth will be a problem and asking for alternatives and not giving any if not ok.

I understand that long wait times can happen, and I don’t mind that as much. What I do take issue with is that I requested a cleaning but only received a consultation. I’m aware that I’m a new patient, but if a consultation is required before a cleaning, then schedule both during the same visit—especially if that’s what I requested. The front desk explained this was due to me booking the appointment online, which I find frustrating. If your office chooses to accept appointments through third-party platforms, then your systems should be up-to-date and able to handle bookings properly.

The office is very large like there’s different departments and waiting areas and so much it’s overwhelming when it’s your first time. I felt as if it’s a hit or miss for the people that work at the front desk the first woman I got I couldn’t really hear her and when she would ask me for information I would give it, but then she would tell me she’s not asking for that which was very frustrating. As for my doctor she doesn’t have that great of bedside manners, she didn’t great me when she came into the cubicle, no small talk or trying to get to know me, she did have another patient before me and was doing a filing. After our first meeting she never announced herself after that when she came back, just facts. I waited about 2 hours to be seen just to get an 5 minute exam and told what I need to do when I come back. I was expecting a cleaning on the same day but I wasn’t aware that those were two separate appointments when I booked.
Would I go back? No.

Just one word. Smooth. From "signing in" to paying, everything was smooth. Doctor and techs were kind. My upbringing was very rough so oral health was not a priority, just survival. There was no judgement. I wasn't shamed or belittled. I was praised for my courage in starting the process and encouraged to keep going. I am a new patient so my first impression of them is very positive.

They didn’t run my insurance until I got there. I waited for over an hour just for them to turn me away since they were waiting on a prior authorization to go through, which they should’ve sent two months ago when I made the appointment. They were clearly underprepared and I would not recommend going there as a new patient.
