I waited over a month for this appointment, drove over an hour away, took time off of work and tried to explain to the disrespectful POS working the front desk that I had a flat tire and I had an insanely rough morning. This wack job Karen denied me because I was one minute past their grace period and refused to let me be seen. The complete disrespect this staff has for people who genuinely need help is unmatched, don’t waste your time going here. 1/13/26 12:01pm.

Dr Cardova and his staff are great. I was very nervous going into my appointment, but the nurse and Dr Cardova were very friendly and calmed me down. They listened to my concerns and did not rush me or shrug off anything I said. Dr Cardova took his time listening to me and checking my skin. He even removed a mole the same visit. Quick and painless. Everyone at his office is so nice, and you get that calm, trusting feeling when you’re there, that you don’t get at every doctors office. I definitely will go back to Dr Cardova, and would recommend him to anyone looking for a new dermatologist

I was seen very close to my appt time, so very short wait. The nurse and Dr. Cordova were both very kind and friendly, knowledgeable and informative. Had a small biopsy and two lesion removals, very minimal discomfort, both nurse and doctor were highly efficient and skilled and I was finished within 45 minutes. Pleasant experience!

My check in went smoothly, despite the fact that my insurance is not well known. I was escorted to an examining room, where my new patient profile was completed. I was ready for the doctor! Richard Cordova, DO was professional and had a very kind bedside manner. He explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. He talked directly to the patient (elderly woman) rather than to the person accompanying her. Not all medical professionals do this, making the patient feel like they are not important or are too "old" to understand what is being done. This appointment went very well. I would recommend Richard Cordova to my friends or family members.

Although I was seen on short notice, Dr. Cordova barely made eye contact throughout the visit. Additionally, when I asked his nurse to send my prescriptions to a mail-order pharmacy, she told me that they wouldn't have time to fill out a couple of forms for me, which made me feel like I was certainly not a priority nor a valued patient. We were able to work things out in the end, but I do not plan to return because of how rude Dr. Cordova's staff was.

Over the years I have been to many dermatologists, Dr, Cordova is by far the best!!!!!! He is professional, personable, knowledgeable and sympathetic of my skin condition. I can not express enough how glad I am that I found this man to be my doctor. If he would close his Reading office and return to his Allentown office I would definitely follow him to that office. He is also prompt with his appointments such that I never waited in the waiting room longer than 10 minutes of scheduled appointment I would recommend Dr. Cordova to anyone that would need a dermatologist.
