We are a full service FAMILY (adults and children) DENTAL OFFICE LIKE NO OTHER - We are caring, responsible, and experienced dentists who respecting your busy time. Our dental practice can provide dental care with or without sedation (while you sleep). We perform general dentistry to advanced surgical procedures. I was left in excruciating pain. The dentist had no explanation as to why. I have had at least four crowns. I have never felt pain like this. They don’t care. When I got home I looked swollen and bruised.

We got right to the purpose of the visit after a few get to know you questions. The office is pleasant and the staff is lovely. Dr. Gillen is a gentleman and easy to talk to. Today was a get to know me session. I am returning next week to begin with the dental work.

No pain whatsoever. Dr. Gillen does X-Rays only as needed, not like the clinic I was going to, where they did all my teeth every 6 months. Being over-radiated is not good. Dr. Gillen also fixed a couple of broken teeth and they feel great,-like new!

I'm always nervous to see dentist because going to one is never fun. However, Dr.Gillen changed my mind. I was recommended by a coworker to see Dr. Gillen. He's gentle and informative. All the staff are really lovely.

The worst dentist ever. Lost my tooth. Ruined my smile. After gruesome extraction excruciating pain that began as soon as I hit the elevator to leave the office and lasted for hours=tears it hurt so bad - bc for some reason he hardly numbed my tooth for an extraction - though in the past would otherwise numb my mouth excessively for simple procedures like gumline fillings, so much so, it lasted well over 6 hours. The extraction itself was also was horrible and bleeding, blood going down throat, poor attention paid to that, then blood pouring out of mouth so much that I was spitting blood on the sidewalk for blocks walking to my train and on the train and then walk home - horrible. Doctor gave small tiny envelope of cotton squares - not sufficient to stick in the open bleeding socket. Had to also stop and buy kleenex at drugstore, bleeding and in pain to stuff in my mouth. No pain meds given or prescribed - just over-the-counter. So much pain it was unbearable. No antibiotics, "tooth will take any infection with it once it's pulled ." though the infection had been raging for days. No follow up call the next day to see how I was doing, nothing. Unbelievable treatment. And why? better to yank out your tooth then offer any other resolutions bc of lack of quality dental insurance - not his decision to make.

I have the pleasure of working with Dr. Blaustein and Dr. Gillen. My initial dental visit was with Dr. Blaustein. He was calm and pleasant, putting me at ease. It was the first time ever that my x-rays were done without pain or discomfort.
Dr. Gillen agreed to see me when I needed an appointment as soon as possible. Dr. Gillen was patient and thorough when treating my cavity. He was mindful of my pain and made sure the anesthesia had taken full effect before my procedure.
I have received excellent care from Dr. Blaustein and Dr. Gillen. Both are extremely qualified and committed to administering great care to all of their patients. Staff members are kind and efficient. I highly recommend this practice to all. EA

My front tooth was chipped so I came in for an emergency visit. I waited around 15 minutes for the visit. Everyone was super friendly and professional. Doctor did an examination and asked for my consent to take x-rays. His dental assistant, Gigi did a fantastic job of taking x-rays. I’m a gagger so it’s a challenge for me to take x-rays. Doctor explained everything to me in detail and fixed my tooth at the same visit. He did a wonderful job on the filling. I highly recommend this office!

spent more time taking x rays than cleaning...took 18 rays...cleaned my teeth for 5 minutes...and spent the rest of the time polishing...very upset w the service and lack of cleaning as that is what is specifically came in for and told the doctor i wanted done...its sad that when doctors know you have medicaid and do not have to pay for anything that will bill the insurance as much as possible and do as little work as possible...thanks

I had a great visit. All staff members were extremely friendly, thoughtful and kind. My visit was pain free, oddly relaxing, and the dentist played great music. He really did the absolute most he could do for me in the amount of time available which I really appreciated and his work was amazing. I felt like I was in great hands. First time going to Dr. Gillen. He and his staff were great! His tech did all of my xrays but the Doc cleaned my teeth himself. It was a very thorough (and gentle!) cleaning. My teeth looked good and felt great. See you in six months Dr. Gillen! ??

Pleasant Doctor, loved his character. Somewhat baffled by him not performing a floss or cleaning at all. used the gum flavored stuff but the actual scrapping and thorough cleaning I get at every single visit every 6 months my whole life he didn't do. i did want that done. For this I will not go back. Probably fly to Miami Beach and have old Dentist do it.

Incredibly rude, patronizing--- has obviously had a lot of problems with Medicaid because he insisted that coverage usually expires on a monthly basis (?!)... Was therefore extremely hesitant to give me an appointment for wisdom teeth extraction a month out. I have had my current insurance for 2 years, with regular appointments and never an issue. Basically, was predetermining my insurance not covering the procedure and didn't trust that I would ensure my coverage before coming in..... I understand being annoyed by insurance companies, but he truly acted like I was a "lesser patient" because Of being covered by Medicaid. Just a really condescending demeanor, snarky, patronizing comments.....was so shocked at being treated this way, that I walked out without cancelling my forthcoming appointment. When I called 5 minutes later to cancel and told the (very sweet and efficient) receptionist that it because of Gillen's terrible "bedside manner" she didn't seem surprised. Avoid at all costs.

I was in so much pain so I scheduled an emergency appointment with the Doctor. I was called within 5 minutes after I finished my paperwork. Dr. Gillen was very clear and explained everything to me. After approximately 45minutes, I left the office with pain free. I am very pleased with the treatment and professional cafe that I received from Dr. Gillen and his staff! I recommend him highly for anyone who needs a dentist and I will definitely come back for cleaning.

My honest opinion of Dr. Gillen...By far, one of the best health professionals I have ever seen (and I'm about to graduate medical school). Why? 1. He has a great bedside manner (He takes plenty of time explaining everything to me, and really makes me feel comfortable and explains everything step by step) 2. He's very knowledgeable and I can tell he truly knows a lot about his field. 3. Amazing technical skills ( I hate getting shots in the mouth, fillings, and deep cleans but with him it was the least painful and had the best outcome i ever experienced). Thus, I have to give props to Dr. Gillen for being a great Dentist and I don't think I'll be looking for another dentist anymore! Thanks Dr. Gillen.
