Dr Bamji is kind, empathetic, and extremely patient. I have been seeing him for many years and he has helped get me through the isolation of the pandemic, the aftermath of an abusive relationship, and that horrible period of torture questioning the decision to have my fur babies put to sleep (even though several vets saw each one and told me I was time IYKYK), His sense of humor is a godsend, as we can laugh about the entertainment factor of my quirks *so I never feel judged*. Therefore, I am not afraid to bring any problem to him (i.e. occasional intrusive thoughts during periods of high stress that terrify me, but he assures me I won’t act on them (I never do but I need a professional to assure me)’and that makes the thoughts stop immediately. I have been prescribed the right combination of medications and adjusting/adding when something traumatic has occurred. Absolutely would and have recommend/ed.
