My dental cleaning went so well for someone who is scared of the dentist. The hygienist was thorough, kind and patient as well as the dentist himself. They were able to identify all my problem areas and then walk me through how much everything would cost with my insurance.

I was really looking forward to this appointment and left work early since one of my back molars were really hurting.
I show up so the front desk lady could tell me no one was there to attend me. She had the audacity to say we “called” but no one picked up. She did not call, there was no text message, no voicemail. So not sure how I would KNOW the appointment was cancelled. Told me to come back the next day, like I can just show up any time of day I can. NEWSFLASH, some of us have jobs and don’t have the luxury of going any time during the day. Horrible patient experience and would never recommend.

Nice office , friendly staff.
Had to resubmit all my forms again, even I already completed them online.
Overall good , I just wanted a bit more details about my needed fillings. The doctor said that I need some fillings without telling me how many are needed and showing me on the X-ray where those fillings need to be changed ( got overwhelmed and forgot to ask, but on all dental offices I was told all this info even without asking)

Everyone at the office is so professional and friendly including the front desk. I like that they have music playing in the background as well as a flat screen TV with nice screensavers in each dental room. Definitely helps you relax. Katya is a wonderful hygienist, she’s very friendly and very reassuring putting your nerves at ease. Dr. Semyon was also very nice and attentive and so was Enrique. Overall it was a wonderful experience especially since I was nervous about going to the Dentist. Would recommend.

Phenomenal dentist, gave such valuable feedback and advice about something that bothered me for awhile, providing multiple solutions options without trying to upsell anything. It’s quite obvious that he is skilled at his profession because visiting the dentist, something that usually most people avoid until last minute, truly became a pleasant experience. It felt like having a conversation with a close friend rather than a businessman and that matters a lot. His energy seems to have spread to the rest of the staff who were warm and welcoming without the excessive customer service fluff many other offices suffer from. For anyone who just needs someone reliable, honest and efficient Dr. Tilis exceeded all of my expectations.

At the ripe age of 48, I have my first cavity! I might as well have been a child in the dentist's chair - a lot nervous with a ton of questions. Dr. Tilis was patient, explaining everything, and putting me at ease about a procedure that was probably super basic for him, but new and unknown for me. I appreciate his style and gentle touch!

He is always attentive, calm and does not suggest unnecessary procedures, erring on the side only addressing what needs to be taken care of.
I've been his patient for almost a year and had several fillings, bite adjustment and a crown all done well and with minimal number of visits.
Wait times are always reasonable and more often than not there is no wait or a very short (5 minutes or less) wait.

I saw Dr. Tilis today for the first time and today’s visit was the best experience I had at a dental office! Upon arriving at his office his staff followed COVID 19 precautions not only with me but with all the patients who arrived after my appointment.All patients were scheduled so no one was waiting in the waiting area with other patients which minimized contact with other patients. My temperature was taken upon arrival and I was offered a bottle of water by Phema the front desk staff member while I filled out my health questionnaire on an iPad. He also wiped and sanitized the Ipad before I used it. Dr. Tilis was professional, very understanding of my dental concerns, and he presented me with options for a dental implant. Dr. Tilis also took time to speak with me unlike other dentists who dismiss you quickly in order to see the next patient. As for his staff they were excellent! This would include Phema the front desk gentleman and Victoria his dental assistant. The office was very clean and very stylish including the spa like restroom! If you”re looking for a great experience at a dental office do yourself a favor and schedule an appointment with Dr. Tilis office ASAP!

I am wary of taking my lo to any professional but the visit knock expectations out of the park! Aside from the visit the actual office is beautifully located in the bay ridge area right off the R train. Upon entering ,beautiful natural light pouring in,beautiful decor and amenities to relax the checking in process. Came in and luckily no patients mid afternoon ?? My lo was a bit wary but the dr.tilis bedside manner and tgat of his assistant were inviting,cautious but warm, they engaged my child with the equipment being used on her and relaxing her for her filling. Mind you my lo would scream and outburst crying (see y it hard to find a dentist) but dr,didn't fold was up to the challenge and viola! filling nicely done,there was attempt on for 2 but had to take take what I could get??Nonethless no more searching ,staying here and welcome everyone to check em out,they won't disappoint! Look forward to the future visits doc??
