Donna Silbert, Ph. D.
During the pandemic, I'm seeing patients virtually on Doxy.me. This is a highly stressful time of job insecurity, economic uncertainty and obvious health risks. Rates of depression, anxiety and substance abuse are all skyrocketing. We're all trying to deal with loss, loneliness, and not being able to see our friends like we used to. Talking to a psychologist can help. I've been working with people for over 30 years, seeing patients in my private practice as well as supervising psychology doctoral candidates who are seeing patients for the first time. I take seminars to stay on top of the latest research and intellectual trends. I've taught classes on eating disorders. But nothing I can write will substitute for our meeting. Email or text me if you'd like to set something up and we'll see if we're comfortable working together. Private fee or Aetna (only).

Dr. Silbert was thoughtful, kind, and insightful in helping me. In fact, I scheduled my next appointment right after our first session. I’d recommend her.

There is not enough room on this page to describe what Dr. Donna Silbert has done for me. I Have been a patient of hers for over fifteen years. Without her I simply would not have made it. I was diagnosed with Bi- Polar disorder in my thirties and with her help have been able to have a productive life.
Dr. Silbert was always available to me when i needed her most. My midnight calls were returned and I always felt safe. Substance abuse was a major concern and with her guidance I was able to successfully navigate my life. I have a family and with her help have been happy married for 25 years. She is understanding, she listens she seems to know more about me than I do myself. Honest , caring , thoughtful, intelligent are just some of the words I would use to describe her.
I consider myself blessed that I was able to find her.

Donna has been my therapist for nearly three years now, instrumental in guiding me as I heal and come to terms with the extent of the physical and emotional abuse that has transpired behind closed doors in my family for decades and to which I have been subjected over the course of my life, the emotional aspect of which continues to present day. Under Donna's guidance, the realizations I have reached on my own accord and with her support, I have confronted a pathological narcissistic father as well as a borderline sister with psychosis, exposing the painful truths for all external purposes to friends, family and therapists.
I am now able to move on with my life, as I gradually gravitate toward sound people and healthy relationships both professionally and personally under Donna's guidance and support. That includes maintaining a precarious relationship of inter-dependency with my father as apposed to that of codependency, as I go through the paces.
