Dr. Altchek’s office is dedicated to the complete care of the skin, the early detection and cure of skin cancer, the care of aging skin, and the relief of suffering from skin disease. Dr. Altchek is a renown dermatologic surgeon with expertise in skin resurfacing, laser, microdermabrasion, fillers and wrinkle treatments. He is also an expert in difficult to diagnose and treat dermatologic conditions and tropical diseases of the skin. Dr. Altchek believes “the skin is the mirror of life” in that it reflects all of health. The philosophy of the office is to help all in need of skin care, and in doing so, promote better health.

Old school doctor. Patient, did not rush me. Positive encouraging. Gave me 2 prescriptions and indicated another treatment available if these don't help within a week. I have been going to Dr. Altchek for well over a decade now. He is the kindest man who has great bedside manner and I always have a wonderful experience. His nurses and staff are lovely as well and would recommend him.

Doctor was great and knowledgeable, but front desk was absolutely AWFUL which led me to cancel my follow-up appointment They were like here’s your prescription I’m like can you call it in. They told me no so i text my pharmacy the prescription after i leave and they said they can’t fill it the doctor needs to call it in so i go back to the office and tell them that and they say ok but we’ll do it in an hour or 2 and i said why - they said we’re busy i said it takes 2 seconds they said no it doesn’t then they go what pharmacy so i verbally told them and they go ok we know that one np Then i leave and they call me 5 mins later and say you didn’t fill out the pharmacy info on the patient form i said i literally just told you it and you know it and they go well that doesn’t help us bc then we have to spend time looking it up and finding the phone number I feel bad bc the doctor was great but he should really consider getting a new front desk staff that actually cares about his patients

All the patients were angry, the office had issues and the staff was unfriendly. My appointment got rescheduled twice and then I still had to wait for an hour. The entire place is straight out of the 1930s. I was unhappy with the quality of care and results. Would not recommend even if you have no other option
The doctor was looking in a hurry and rush situation. Not a good listener. I don't know how knowledgeable he is but he doesn't show any sympathy or care about patients. Just want to sell you his brand of pricey medicine and get rid of you as soon as possible.
