He received his medical training at Harvard Medical School and MIT and his surgical training at NYU, Bellevue Hospital, and UCLA. Quadruply trained in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Orthopedic Hand Surgery, Microsurgery, and Cosmetic Surgery, Dr. Chin employs a multidisciplinary approach to cosmetic surgery, facial rejuvenation/restoration, and upper extremity reconstruction. Dr. Chin has pioneered a number of minimally invasive procedures in cosmetic surgery and hand surgery. He is a leading expert in peripheral nerve disorders including carpal tunnel syndrome and repetitive stress disorders. Born and raised in the Bay Area, Dr. Chin’s practice embraces and celebrates the racial and gender diversity of the Bay Area. Doctor Chin was exceptional. He recognized the issue and offered several steps that might alleviate the issue without having to resort to surgery. But if surgery is required I will gladly have him perform it. He inquired about my ancestry as that could partly be involved with my issue, something that no other doctor I'd seen had thought to do. He gets my complete recommendation.
